I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist in El Dorado Hills, CA, and I have a passion for working with Teens, Adults, and their Families. I suppose it was a calling for me. I love to listen, to help, and to guide. You have an important story to share, and I want to hear it. Each individual quests for that sense of belonging in the world; for purpose, for motivation, wanting to “just be.” I want to know your story.

First, you want someone to acknowledge you, that you exist, that you are valuable. You want to find a counselor who respects who you are, who cares, who listens. You know deep down that you have an important role to play in life, and you want to regain that sense of significance. You want to find your true calling, your passion, your life's purpose. Something we are often searching for throughout our lives.

That is what brought me here, to create Every Heart Dreams Counseling, so I could support you. I can help you navigate that search for meaning, for belonging. Sometimes in the midst of our search we get distracted by doubts and worries. Depression and anxiety can creep in. We don’t feel like we fit in with the crowd, or we don’t believe that we are “good enough.” We get caught up in all the goings on in the world, and all that we have to do and be.

Through my background as an integrated Trauma Therapist for teens, adults, and their families, I have learned that a change in perspective, along with tools for self-care and mindfulness practice, helps to channel more positive and productive thoughts and feelings. When we realize that we are capable, we can begin to feel better about ourselves through simply attending to our own needs and learning to more effectively communicate with others.
